Army Basic Training Camp Locations
Each base serves to prepare recruits for Army service with a rigorous training program encompassing physical fitness conditioning, weapons handling and marksmanship, basic field tactics, and survival skills. Recruits are assigned to a particular base depending on factors such as their chosen Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or simply due to logistical considerations like space availability. The objective of BCT is universal: to transform civilians into soldiers who are ready for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and prepared to serve effectively in the U.S. Army.
